  2. can you tell me have to show text after clicking on an item from a list.
    I have a list of items in ListView.
    What i want to do is:
    After clicking on an item i want to show respective text in textView.
    what i have done so far is:

    listAdapter = new ArrayAdapter(this,R.layout.listView,R.id.textView,List);


    public void onItemClick(AdapterView parent, View v,int position, long id)
    {
    System.out.println("position is:"+position);
    switch (position)
    {
    case 0:
    {
    //text to show for case 0.
    }
    break;
